The Edelbrock Torker-Plus Camshaft and Lifter kit is designed to work with Edelbrock's Torker II manifolds for performance from 2, 500 to 6, 500 RPM for increased horsepower and optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. They are ideal for high-performance street, drag or marine applications. They offer improved throttle response and torque. The intake valve lift with factory rocker arm ratio is 0. 488 and exhaust valve lift is 0. 488. The intake duration at 0. 050 lift is 232 degrees and the exhaust duration is 234 degrees. The style of the camshaft and lifter kit is hydraulic flat tappet. The Torker-Plus cams have a slightly rough idle and are not suitable for trucks or towing applications. They should be used with Edelbrock or other aftermarket cylinder heads, adjustable valve train components and at least 9. 5: 1 compression ratio. Headers, high energy ignition systems lower than stock rear end gearing and a high performance torque converter in automatic transmission equipped vehicles are necessary to gain all of the performance in these camshaft kits.
